Surf City Fitness is hosting our 4th annual Race to the Coast 5k on May 10, 2025! If the 5k doesn’t take your breath away the views will! See the best of Surf City with our route over the Surf City bridge and back. This race is also all about celebrating MOM! There are special categories and perks for our moms to celebrate Mother’s Day weekend, so you don’t want to miss out!

  • If running across the Surf City Bridge doesn't take your breath away - the views will! Enjoy the sound and ocean views, the smell of salt air, and a celebration of fun and fitness at the Surf City Fitness Race to the Coast 5K on Saturday, May 13th at 8 am. Hosted by Surf City Fitness and Benefitting Surf City Ocean Rescue

  • During the Surf City Fitness Race for the Coast, we will be celebrating moms! All moms will receive a special bib and a flower from Surf City Florist.

    Salty Turtle Beer Co has also partnered with us to provide a “Mimosa for Mom”/drink for every participant 21 and over!

    The Run with your Mom Challenge is a race within a race. Award for the fastest mom and kid team. You will have a chance to join the Run with your Mom challenge during registration.
