Mark your calendars and make Race to the Coast a special part of your Mother’s Day weekend! Surf City Fitness is hosting our 4th annual Race to the Coast 5k on May 9, 2026! Enjoy breathtaking views of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean from the top of the Surf City Bridge. Race to the Coast is a celebration of fitness, moms, and springtime in Surf City. Voted one of Surf City's top events, a favorite for both Surf City locals and visitors.

  • During the Surf City Fitness Race for the Coast, we will be celebrating moms! All moms will receive a special bib and a flower from Surf City Florist.

    The Run with your Mom Challenge is a race within a race. Award for the fastest mom and kid team. You will have a chance to join the Run with your Mom challenge during registration.
